Part-time Chairman
Shri Satish Kumar,  a distinguished officer of the 1986 batch of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers. He joined Railways in March, 1988, and has a rich experience of 38 years of working on Indian Railways.
He, worked as GM/North Central Railways  and  also worked as SDGM & CVO on North Western Railways, Jaipur.
He worked on Jhansi Division of erstwhile Central Railway and DLW (Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi), North Eastern Railways, Gorkahpur, Patiala Locomotive Works. He was trained in Total Quality Management, under United Nation Development  Programme in 1996.
He also worked as Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division on Northen Railway from April, 2017 to April, 2019. A large nos. of infrastructural works were accomplished during his tenure as DRM/Lucknow. His works during Kumbh, 2019 was also appreciated by all levels which was mammoth taskand was successfully accomplished by his Lucknow Division team.

Managing Director
Shri Praveen Kumar, belongs to 1989 batch of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). With over three decades of exemplary service, Shri Kumar has established himself as a visionary leader in the realm of mega Railway Infrastructure projects.
His experience spans the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning. Shri Kumar has expertise in international tendering, procurement and dealing with multi-lateral funding agencies, including the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the World Bank.
Shri Kumar has been involved with Dedicated Freight Corridors for more than a decade and handled complex challenges related to land acquisition, project execution and procurement. He has been instrumental in commissioning critical Rewari-Dadri section of DFC which is the links WDFC with EDFC. His ability to resolve intricate contractual issues in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts through amicable means has earned him widespread respect in the industry.
Shri Kumar has authored two authoritative books on railway engineering displaying his technical prowess and commitment to knowledge-sharing.
Shri Praveen Kumar has completed his Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering from IIT, Roorkee. He has also done Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management from MDI, Gurgaon.


 Director Finance
 
Shri Hira Ballabh, an IRAS officer, assumed the additional charge of MD on 01.08.2024. He joined DFCCIL as Director Finance on 05.05.2020. Prior to this, he was FA&CAO with Northern Railway. After graduation from DSB college Nainital and Masters and MPhil from JNU New Delhi, he also did his MBA(Finance) from SMU. He has rich exposure of working in Finance and Administration in multiple organisations. He was in charge of Finance in three Railway divisions i.e, Mumbai VT, Bhusawal and Bhopal. He also worked with Metropolitan Transport Project, Mumbai. As Director(Finance) of New Delhi Municipal Council(NDMC) he was associated with key urban renewal and infrastructure projects executed through various modes of Financing. Mr.Hira Ballabh had a unique opportunity to chair the Accounting Reform Committee of NDMC. Further, he also worked with Freight Operations Information System (FOIS), Computerisation and taxation in Railways. He also had stint in Production Unit, Procurement wing and Traffic Earnings. He has vast exposure of Sports administration and Financing. While working as Secretary and ED of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) he is credited with improving the Financial position of the  organisation.
Mr. Hira Ballabh has attended various events, seminars and trainings in India and abroad. He participated in negotiations abroad and represented India. Mr.Hira Ballabh has received the National Award for Outstanding Services for implementing ISO 9000 in a Railway Division. He got GM’s medal and also four Efficiency Shields while working in various units. He has compiled a 'Handbook on Internal Checks', one 'Manual on Finance and Accounts' and a booklet on 'Standard Form of Templates', in addition to a number of papers on various subjects.

Shri Pankaj Saxena is an Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer of the 1987 batch and has over 33 years of experience in various aspects of Civil Engineering in Indian Railways. A highly accomplished technocrat, Shri Saxena is an M. Tech. in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-Delhi) & B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-Roorkee).  He has been extensively trained in Austria, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and USA. Prior to his last assignment at the Railway Board, he has worked in Central Railway, Northern Railway, East Central Railway and RVNL.  He has also served as Director, Railway Board and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Division. Shri Saxena was last posted as Principal Executive Director (Bridge) at Railway Board, Ministry of Railways.

Shri Shobhit Bhatnagar is an Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 1992 Batch. With DFCCIL fast nearing completion (with 88.4% complete), he assumes charge at a pivotal time when the organisation is transitioning into the Operations phase. A consummate technocrat, he has the distinction of having served as Group General Manager (GGM) Operations & Business Development at DFCIL from 27.09.2021 to 09.03.2023. Prior to that has served as GGM (Commercial & Operations), at CONCOR, Chief Freight Transportation Manager (CFTM), as well as Chief Passenger Transportation Manager (CPTM) North Western Railway. He also served as CFTM North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. He has been the Deputy Chief Operation Manager (DCOM) Freight Operation Information System (FOIS), Northern Railway and Director Computerisation & Information Systems (CRIS) Railway Board.
Sh. Bhatnagar was part of the team that had developed the prototype of the FOIS in 1999-2000 where he had programmed the prototype application. He was the convenor of the Directors level committee of the Railway Board that had developed the procedure for the e-registration of demand and electronic transmission of Railway receipt (e-TRR).
He is a BE (Computer Science) from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology, Indore. His hobbies include music and astronomy. He likes to play electronic keyboards and piano accordion in his free time and look at the universe with his telescope.

Shri Pranai Prabhakar,  has been appointed as Part Time Official Director (MoR) w.e.f 20.03.2024.

Part Time Official Director (NITI Aayog)
Shri Jayant Singh is currently posted in the NITI Aayog as Programme Director, he joined NITI last year in August. Prior to this he was posted in the Ministry of Shipping Ports and Waterways as Vice Chairman - Inland Waterways Authority of India. Civil Servant by profession, Mr Jayant Singh1s area of specialization lies in the field of Public Policy, particularly in the areas of infrastructure and Governance.
He is an alumnus of St Stephens College, Delhi from where he did his graduation and post-graduation in History; and the London School of Economics from where he obtained MSc degree in Public Management and Governance. He also holds an M.Phil degree in Security Studies from National Defence College, New Delhi.
He belongs to the 1994 batch of the Indian Railways Traffic Service. He's served in various capacities in Rajasthan and Gujarat, most notably in Container Corporation of India, he set up a number of multimodal logistics terminals in Rajasthan and Haryana. He was associated with the launch of the first double stack container train in Asia in 2006.
He has also served as faculty member at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie for over 5 years where he was faculty in-charge of History and Politics and took sessions in Public Administration and Management. He was also the Centre Director for Centre of Disaster Management.
Besides Public Policy and Governance, his area of interest includes National Security and Geo-Strategic affairs. He served as Joint Secretary at the National Security Council Secretariat under the Prime Minister's Office where he handled matters pertaining to Internal and External Security besides management of the apex of the national security architecture.
